Basis of the reference: Keller et al. 2024, kontrollierte Crossover-Studie mit neun gesunden Katzen: eine feste Ration von 85 g Trockenfutter am Tag mit 6 % Flohsamenschalen, also rund 5,1 g je Katze und Tag, veränderte Häufigkeit, Menge und Feuchte des Kots messbar. Die Menge steht so in der Studie und ist nicht aus einem Futteranteil geschätzt.

Worth knowing: Always give with plenty of water, or the husks swell in the gut instead of the bowl. Feed a little apart from tablets, as the gel can delay their uptake.
